SUSAN STRALKA is a doctor. With over 30 years of experience, he is a licensed physical therapist. She obtained her degrees from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. She is an occasional guest lecturer for the Department of Physical Therapy at UTHSC. The first exam for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties was written by Dr. Stralka and two of her colleagues. Her most recent publications are called Graded Motor Imagery and she has many publications to her credit. The journal deals with hand therapy. There is a book entitled Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Pain in the neck and arm. , 2011. She is a member of both the APTA and the American Physical Therapy Association. The co-recipient of the Rose Excellence in Research Award in 1996 was Dr. Stralka, who was the recipient of the Dr. Arthur Nelson Honorary Lectureship Award for lectures on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
