Glenn Sullivan is a doctor. Is the co-author. Clinical and legal standards of care for suicidal patients. The American Psychological Association published the 3rd ed. There is a handbook of military and veteran suicide. It was published by Oxford University Press. Dr. Sullivan received his PhD from the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in Palo Alto, California. He completed his internship at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center and his residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

Dr. Sullivan is a tenured professor of psychology at the Virginia Military Institute, where he is known for his engaging and dynamic teaching style. The Thomas Jefferson Teaching Award is presented to a faculty member who is especially talented at inspiring students in the development of their intellect and character.

In addition to his private practice in Virginia, Dr. Sullivan has publications and presentations on suicide. His clinical specialties include psychological assessment, forensic evaluation, and the treatment of combat veterans.
