Douglas Braun-Harvey is a sexual health author. He helps with sexual and mental health. The Harvey Institute is an international education, training, consulting and supervision service for improving healthcare through integration of sexual health.

Drug and alcohol treatment, HIV prevention and treatment, child welfare, reproductive health and prevention of child maltreatment are some of the sexual health principles taught and trained by Braun-Harvey.

He developed and implemented a sexual health based treatment approach for men with out of control sexual behavior. He has a new book. Sex addiction can be treated out of control. Mr. Braun-Harvey is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is an alumni of the University of Minnesota and a founding donor of the Doug Braun-Harvey fellowship in Compulsive Sexual Behavior.
